To Yak Or Not To Yak

If I had a nickel for every time, I have seen someone puke I would have all the nickels. Sea sickness is caused by the conflicts with the inner ear and movement of the vessel. One’s inner ear senses the movement of the body but since the vessel and the body are moving together your eyes see you as relatively stable. The brains’ reaction to this imbalance is to release stress hormones causing nausea vomiting and vertigo.

My Favorite Hat

Today I was a mechanic, HVAC technician, maid, waiter, mate, boat detailer, ice machine repair man, receptionist, accountant, boss, employee, father, husband, and I got to drive a boat.
The many hats of a captain are sometimes hard to wear, and not a single person can wear all those hats at one time.

January 2021 Fishing Report

Our 2021 Charter fishing season started off with poor weather for the first week of January. Followed by some decent weather and some good pockets of mahi with hundreds of bonitas. The sailfish bite was slow the entire month. Towards the end of the month schools of large Vermilion Snapper showed up making easy limits possible.
